WORDS OF THE HOLY FATHER - Matthew 5: v 13 – 16 Jesus did not want to do away with the Commandments that the Lord had given through Moses; rather, he wanted to bring them to fulfilment. He then added that this “fulfilment” of the Law requires a higher kind justice, a more authentic observance. In fact, he says to his disciples: “Unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven” (Angelus, 16 February 2014)

LENT SOUP LUNCH: the annual Lent Lunch will take place in the Hall on Friday, 13th March  from 12noon to 1.30pm. Please drop in and enjoy a choice of home-made soups and bread. This year, proceeds will go to “Aid to the Church in Need”, a Pontifical Foundation of the Catholic Church, supporting the Catholic faithful and other Christians where they are persecuted, oppressed or in pastoral need.
