LOOKING AHEAD: THE CHRISM MASS will be celebrated in Clifton Cathedral on Wednesday, 8th April. The coach is now FULL. BEHOLD YOUR MOTHER. This year the people of England are being invited to dedicate themselves to Mary, Mother of Jesus. Clifton Cathedral will host a Triduum of prayer from 20-22 February when they receive the statue of Mary from the Slipper Chapel at the Catholic National Shrine in Walsingham. Perpetual Adoration We are continuing with the plan to introduce Perpetual Adoration in the church of the English Martyrs Chard. A meeting is to be held after the evening Mass on Tuesday 18th February.  During that meeting we hope to finalise plans and look at some of the issues that have arisen. CATHOLIC LADIES GUILD: the next meeting is on Tuesday 10th March at 11.00am.. There will be a presentation from “Baby Basics”, who co-ordinate the Moses Baskets we fill periodically for mothers and babies in need. PRAYER & EXPOSITION In our prayers this week we remember the people and Clergy of St. Edmund, Calne St. Anthony of Padua, Melksham The Holy Father’s monthly prayer intentions for February – Universal: Listen to the Migrants’ Cries: ‘That the cries of our migrant brothers and sisters, victims of criminal trafficking, may be heard and considered’. In our own Parish, we pray for all parishioners and visitors; those unable to be with us today, the sick, the housebound, and those who care for them, all who have asked for our prayers, all who have died recently, and all those whose anniversaries occur at this time. May they rest in peace.
